    Description:
From the mountain hut of Merveilles (2130 m), turn South and take the GR52 (beacon 92). Follow the red and white marking to the right which goes up in two or three zigzags, staying on the same level till you reach the beacon 93 (2176 m).
From there, leave the GR to take the pathway on the left which goes up Northwest in the direction of the mountain pass of Arpette (Pas de l'Arpette). Shortly before this, at the last turn, head North to cross a grassy plateau and climb a corridor of gray sand.
Go down a few meters on the other slope to reach the mountain pass of Conques (2651 m). Then turn North staying on the Eastern side below the ridgeline. At the bottom of the Grand Capelet, continue North by a vague tiny pathway in the rocks to reach its summit (2935 m).
From the summit, descend Northeast via a tiny pathway with cairns and then continue downhill on a pathway in the green and wine-red blocks from the Northeastern side. Once you reach a mountain depression, cross the corridor of scree straight ahead and continue a grassy-pebbly descent Northeast.
At about 2700m altitude, turn East to reach a tiny pathway that you will follow East until the mountain pass of Valmasque (2549 m-beacon 94).
From there, take the GR52 South which descends into the valley of Merveilles to beacon 93. Continue on the red and white markings of the GR to reach the mountain hut of Merveilles.
