    Description:
From the mountain hut of Merveilles (2130 m), turn South to take the GR52 (beacon 92). Climb up towards the lake Fourca that you will bypass on the Eastern river bank. The direction will change and go Southwest to pass between the lakes of Trem and Muta, then reach the lakes of Diable (Lacs du Diable, 2410 m-beacon 404).
From there, leave the red and white marking to follow the yellow signposted pathway on the right, which climbs to the mountain pass of Trem (Pas du Trem, 2480 m).
From here, go South and then West by a path in a steep slope to reach the summit of the ‘Cime du Diable' (2685 m).
From the summit, by an unmarked pathway, go South in a steep slope towards a small mountain pass. Continue Southwest, then Southeast by small zigzags to get to the Cavaline mountain pass (Baisse Cavaline, 2107 m) and join the GR52 coming from Authion.
From there, follow the red and white markings on the left to go up to the mountain pass of Diable (Pas du Diable, 2450 m-beacon 405). Then join the homonymous lakes (beacon 404) and follow the route in opposite direction to return to the mountain hut of Merveilles.
