On the edge of a wooded area, ignore the left trail to continue the ascent on the right. Stay on the trail, ignoring the multiple paths. The elevation will subside and the trail go in a long arid crossed under the Souvagea. After a rocky last lock, the trail leads to the refuge of Chambeyron (2626 m).

From there, descend Southwest to pass under the Western side of the "Brec de Chambeyron" and reach the valley of Riou de Fouillouse at the bottom. Follow it to the Northwest, pass the ruins of the "Fort de Plate Lombarde" and join, after about 3 km in the same direction, the hamlet of Fouillouse (1870 m). Cross it to reach the parking lot on the right at the exit of the village
