Description:
From the mountain hut of Vens (2380 m), take Southeast a tiny pathway with cairns which goes up in the small valley formed by the creek of Terre Rousse.
You will first see the lakes of Fourchas, lower and upper.
Continue to climb to discover the lake of Montagnette (2606 m).
This short circuit will take you to places far from the crowded path, where the lakes are sometimes frozen until mid-July, and prized by wildlife.
The return to the mountain hut of Vens takes place via the reverse route.
